Amada Europe

Amada Europe is studying a French restructuring plan that could eliminate up to 62 positions.

Seven of the roles are at the company's 120-person Charleville-Mézières operation, and the wider plan remains under negotiation before a formal presentation later in September. The machine-tool group is responding to declining orders and stronger competition from Chinese manufacturers.
