AVL List plans to cut another 180 jobs in Graz, extending the Austrian engineering group's workforce reduction beyond the 350 positions announced in January.

The latest round is concentrated in the Instrumentation and Test Systems business and will use mutual termination agreements under a social plan. AVL blamed weak demand and delayed investment by European customers, especially in Germany.
