East London NHS Foundation Trust is planning redundancies and service changes to close a £25 million funding gap.

The trust aims to remove 330 posts, but that total includes vacant and unfilled roles as well as redundancies, so the number of people losing jobs has not been disclosed. At least 10 mental-health services are being redesigned, including the planned September closure of Fothergill ward in East Ham.
