Halberstädter Konserven

Halberstädter Konserven is closing its Halberstadt food-production business and dismissing all remaining employees. The insolvency administrator said the current number affected was unclear because some of the 152 employees present when proceedings began had already found other work. The closure followed unsuccessful attempts to restructure the business, while the future of the Halberstädter Würstchen brand remains unresolved.
