HELLWEG and BayWa Bau & Garten will close stores that failed to attract buyers, triggering precautionary termination notices across the unsold German locations.

Seventy-eight locations remained without a confirmed solution when the sale results were announced. Closures are expected by the end of November, although negotiations continued for some sites. All employees at the 35 stores acquired by buyers will transfer with those businesses and keep their jobs.
