Munich Sports opened talks to shrink its Spanish store network, and a later pre-agreement reduced the planned layoffs from roughly 65 to about 45.

The revised plan preserves jobs at four stores in Barcelona, San Sebastián and Madrid that were included in the original proposal. The footwear company cited falling revenue and losses at physical stores as it reorganized its retail and distribution footprint.
