The University of Dundee started a voluntary redundancy process targeting an additional reduction of 154 full-time-equivalent positions. The staff notice said the process could lead to compulsory redundancies, while as many as 500 employees were being told their roles were at risk. Dundee UCU said the new target would take staffing below the level assumed in the university's approved recovery strategy.
