Ex-ILVA contractors

Twenty-eight companies in the Ex-ILVA contractor network have opened collective-dismissal procedures covering more than 2,500 workers in Taranto.

The letters went to unions on September 4 as contractors responded to uncertainty over the steelworks' hot-area operations; the procedure has begun, but dismissals are not yet final.
