ABK will cut 46 of 84 jobs at its Kaufbeuren brewery under a finalized insolvency restructuring plan that keeps beer production at the site.

The continuing operation will employ 38 people, while departing workers will be offered a transfer company. Management cited high staffing costs, weak beer sales, rising raw-material expenses and an investment backlog.
