Amazon notified Washington officials of approximately 121 layoffs in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice dated August 31, 2026, according to records published by the Washington Employment Security Department.
Amazon expects to eliminate about 121 jobs across offices and facilities in Seattle, Bellevue and Sumner, with departures running from October 1 through October 27.
