Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open. Here is how, and a log of every change.
Our policy
- We correct factual errors as soon as we confirm them, in the story itself.
- Every corrected story carries a dated note saying what was wrong and what we changed. We do not silently edit facts.
- Updates (new information, such as a revised count) are labeled as updates, not corrections.
- If a story cannot be supported by a source after all, we remove it, and its address explains that it was withdrawn.

Tell us the address of the story, what you believe is wrong, and, if you can, a source that shows it. Use our contact form or email hello@todayslayoffs.com. If you are affected by a layoff we have reported incorrectly, say so and we will prioritize it.

In October 2026 we re-checked every U.S. story from the previous version of this site against its original source (see methodology). Where the source said something different from the old story, the source won. These 56 stories changed:
