Astrion to lay off 220 workers in Florida
FloridaCommerce published the WARN notices dated August 28, 2026; the layoffs take effect September 30, 2026.
Astrion has notified Florida officials that it will lay off 220 workers at sites in Eglin Air Force Base and Patrick Afb, according to two Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notices published by FloridaCommerce.
The notices break down as follows: 204 workers in Eglin Air Force Base (Eglin Air Force Base 2591, EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, FL, 32542); 16 workers in Patrick Afb (Patrick Air Force Base 820 Falcon Ave, PATRICK AFB, FL, 32925).
The notices are dated August 28, 2026 and give September 30, 2026 as the date the layoffs take effect.
