Kilgore Flares

Kilgore Flares will permanently eliminate 127 jobs at its infrared-countermeasure manufacturing operation in Toone, Tennessee.

The reduction is scheduled for October 31; the company did not give a reason in its notice. The plant manufactures decoy flares used to protect aircraft from heat-seeking threats.
