Penobscot Community Health Care

Penobscot Community Health Care is eliminating 16 administrative positions as it consolidates services and closes Bangor's Adult Wellness Center.

Eleven affected employees are transferring to other roles, and the Adult Wellness Center is scheduled to close November 6. The nonprofit expects the closure to save about $400,000 a year while it responds to reimbursement and financial pressure.
