Illinois has its own rules (Illinois WARN Act):
- Applies to employers with 75 or more full-time employees.
- Requires 60 days' advance notice of a plant closing or mass layoff.
- A mass layoff includes job losses in a 30-day period (in some cases 90 days) of 25 or more full-time employees making up at least one-third of the site's full-time workforce, or of 250 or more full-time employees.
